The LOR BARISTA system is making a loud noise while brewing

Water tank not positioned correctly Make sure that the water tank is correctly placed onto the system. Water tank is empty

Your L'OR Barista produces a louder humming sound when there is no water left in the water tank. Fill the water tank with fresh tap water.

Note: It is normal for the system to produce a sound as it fills with water for the first time and when the water tank is low. The system produces a humming sound when the internal water system is not completely full. Once water is flowing, it produces a less loud humming sound.

Air trapped in the water system

When there is air in the internal water system instead of water flowing, a humming sound is normal. When the system dispenses water, it produces less loud humming sounds. To solve this:

1.Turn on the system

2.Remove the capsule from the capsule compartment

3.With a mug or container placed below the spouts, press the large drink button to fill the water system with water

Once completed, dispose of the water and insert a capsule to try again.

Different capsule

The L'OR Barista is designed for L'OR capsules. Other brands of capsules might cause a difference in sound. This will not affect your system.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Make sure you are descaling the system when you see the small drink and large drink buttons are flashing at the same time after brewing. Descaling cleanses the internal system of limescale build-up, which may be increasing the sound that your system is making while brewing. Descale your system regularly to prevent this from happening.
